AOG HPP Eligibility Crieteria:
  • Participants must complete the required applications for the desired program, the "Income Verification Form" for the certification process, attend the AOG HPP orientation and intake process.
  • Participants must be emanicipated females aging out of the child welfare system between the ages of 18-24 with or without children.  Participants will have the option of living in one of the AOG HPP pre-arranged living facilities or an AOG HPP representative will assists the participant seek other outsourced living arrangements.
  • The AOG HPP programs are income-based.  Participants applying for any types of services through AOG HPP must complete provide all necessary documentation and provide proof of income to participate.  Everyone living in the household over the age of 18 must provide proof of income.  AOG HPP will not assist participants with living arrangements that is out of their means financially.  If this type of request occurs, an AOG HPP representative will assign the participant to and AOG financial counselor to discuss further options and determine the best living situation for the participant.
  • Participants seeking to apply for the HPRP Funds through AOG HPP must be very low-income at 50% rate is $19,550 for 1 person to $36,850 for 8 people; for extremely low-income at 30% rate is $11,750 for 1 person to $22,100 for 8 people; and for low-income at 80% rate is $31,250 for 1 person to $58,950 for 8 people. (See the Fiscal Year 2009 Income Limits Documentation for AOG HPP Participants below). Please note, not having any income will not disqualify you from the program. See chart below.
  • Participants must notify AOG HPP within five (5) business days of a change in income, Section 8, Public Low-Income Housing, or public assistance.
  • Because the participants rent is income-based, the participant must resubmit proof of income every three (3) months for rent re-calculations.  Please note, the re-calculations of rent will not disqualify the participant from remaining on the program.  It will, however, help the AOG HPP representative determine the participants cost of rent.
