| Kathleen Marie Sanchez, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin, mom to her pet pup and dear friend too many, passed from this life into the next on Sunday morning, September 27, 2009. Born on January 25, 1960, to John and Christine Sanchez. Kathy lived all days in Fresno. She attended local schools, graduating from Roosevelt High in 1979. Impeded by her illness from pursuing a career, Kathy did perform volunteer work at the Adult Literacy Council, U.S. Citizenship classes at her church, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and for eight years was a valued volunteer at The Fresno Art Museum where she was voted Volunteer of the year in 2000! Kathy enjoyed dining with friends and family, book clubs, movies, TV, David Letterman, Surivor, and Vacations in Santa Cruz!
We will miss her dearly! She was preceded in death by her loving Dad. Kathleen now walks with him, hand-in-hand. Kathy is survived by her mother, Christine Sanchez; her siblings Barbara and John; her niece Jordan; and many cousins, aunts and uncles all over our state! |
| In celebration of Kathleen's life, her friends and family will be celebrating her 50th birthday requested by Kathleen before her passing. In lieu of birthday presents, Kathleen requested that her friends and family make a donation to their favorite non-profit organization.
